  • Career Goals

I aspire to one day be a professor of Computer Science. I want to do research and fieldwork in computer science education and find ways to democratize CS and equalize the industry so that it is diverse and inclusive for all. I also want to develop other CS platforms to further help students understanding of the various and bountiful fields of CS. My dream is to be accepted at the University of Colorado Boulder and gain further teaching and research experience.

  • S-STEM Program Benefits

This scholarship has not only encouraged me but has given me access to a peer network that has helped me further my career. This scholarship provides me with many opportunities, such as conferences, to network and meet other people that could potentially be my future employers. They are preparing me for not only graduate school but for other aspects of a successful life as well. Not only that, but the S-STEM program has given me new opportunities. I have already met so many other students and faculty from the Computer Science department, receiving professional development from my independent study class, and I also get the opportunity to attend the GMiS conference, where I can hopefully find prospective employers!
